Residents Appreciate the Installation of Speed Traps in Utan Kayu Selatan

Residents of Utan Kayu Selatan, Matraman, appreciated the installation of speed trap on Jalan Raya Galur Sari Timur by East Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency, Wednesday (7/16) night.
The installation was run at night
East Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency's Traffic Section Head, Benhard Tobing explained his side installed speed trap at four locations namely in front of Utan Kayu Selatan Urban Village Office, in front of SMAN 22, intersection of Jalan Asem Gede and near SMKN 40.
"The installation was run at night to avoid traffic congestion," he said, Thursday (7/17).
Heri Susanto, member of Matraman District City Council, thanked and appreciated the speed trap installation.
He stated that speed trap installation is important since traffic accidents often occur in those four locations due to vehicles driving too fast.
"We appreciate the speed trap installation much," he stated.
